Ross Arbuckle was Mayor of Iola in 1952, was a cook in the Kansas State Guard in the Iola Company sometime between August 6, 1917 and November 11, 1919, unless there were more than two Ross Arbuckles in Iola at the time. He also owned Ross Arbuckle Chrysler/Plymouth.

There is an Agustus Ross Arbuckle buried in Highland Cemetary in Iola Kansas with the dates listed above. The dates would be around the right time. Is this the same Ross Arbuckle?

Ross also had the first radio station in Iola, KFID, on a frequency of 1220 Khz on the AM dial, from June 30, 1923 until June 30, 1924.

This flying bunch from Iola were really on the cutting edge in their time. Radio stations, airplanes, moving pictures, etc.
